The story

Today I wanted to surprise my little one, so after picking him up from nursery, given the glorious day, we decided to visit this beautiful Genoese villa designed and built by M. Canzio, a brilliant Genoese architect. The villa's garden is truly surprising, so much so that it is considered one of the major historic gardens in Europe. These days, as every year, a beautiful event is held at the villa: the camellias in bloom, and believe me, it is really pleasant to stroll along this flowering avenue. The history of the garden is truly unusual, as are the buildings inside it, and from the photos you'll understand why.

Inside the villa there is the archaeological museum and a very respectable botanical garden, so why not take advantage of a nice day and go for a walk yourself? ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM OF GENOA OPENING HOURS Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9-19; Saturday and Sunday 10-19; closed Monday Villa Pallavicini, Via Pallavicini 11 - Genoa, GENOA tel.: 010-6981048 fax: 010-6974040 e-mail: archligure@comune.genova.it BOTANICAL GARDEN open every day except Monday, from 9.00 to 12.30, at the price of 3.50 Euro
