The Val di Sole lets you cycle on a real cycle path that crosses villages and little-trafficked roads; it's well signposted and a real joy. If only there were real cycle paths in Piedmont too — we're light years away from all this... think about it, administrators, think about it. Another great pleasure is that the route is also served by a little train that carries bicycles too, running every half hour, which if you're tired takes you back so that you can, if anything, make a nice stop at a good pastry shop in Mezzana, where you can savour berry cakes or good strudel, but that's another story, always very heavenly. In the end you can do your 25 km without tiring too much along the Noce stream and admire the mountain landscape around you... and if that seems little to you>>!!!!! happy travels everyone wind and clouds
