The Waterfalls Park of Molina is located south-east of the village, in the Vaccarole area, and covers an area of about 80,000 sq m. The particularity of this area is its abundance of water, thanks to perennial springs north of the village of Molina. Besides the foaming waterfalls, the Park also offers the visitor a landscape marked by woods and meadows, frequently broken by streams and rivulets, bringing together the softness of the greenery, in the endless variety of its vegetation, and the grey of the rocky outcrops.

Day 11 Jun 2008

Waterfall Park

The second stop of our weekend at the lake was this magnificent park. To be honest, we weren't expecting it to be this beautiful and this challenging! I recommend comfortable clothing, especially shoes...I saw people with beautiful golden ballet flats...I think after the walk they ended up in the trash! Anyway, on the website they give you all the necessary information...forewarned is forearmed, shoes saved! The trails last from half an hour to 2 hours, but between photos, stops to admire the landscape, snacks, etc., we took 5 hours! There are also equipped picnic areas; if you want my advice, spend the whole day there, you won't regret it!
