The story

To avoid the car, we opted to use the State Railways service. What can I say, it wasn't bad at all not having to worry about queues, parking, etc. We arrive at Monterosso early in the morning, then from there roughly every hour we reached the next little village... Monterosso? Vernazza? Corniglia? Manarola? Riomaggiore In the evening, dead tired, we caught the train again and went back home... The focaccia and farinata are always fantastic. Definitely to be repeated, though better with an overnight stay on site, to do things more calmly and be able to admire the fantastic views again.
