The story

Between Pinerolo and Saluzzo you'll come across a small but very beautiful abbey, that of Staffarda, which in the Middle Ages gave birth to the Mauriziano Order. The visit is quite short but very descriptive, and it will be lovely to encounter in the vaults of the church the natural symbolism of the man of his time. On the way out you can refresh your palate with a good breakfast or snack based on caruce meliga biscuits, ugly but absolutely delicious. and then, if you fancy, a good restaurant which, if it has already reopened, is under new management. happy travels to everyone ventoenuvole
