The story

Discovered by seeing Inspector Montalbano on television, the island of Levanzo is made for those who love tranquillity in the truest sense of the word. There are no cars (except the postman's), partly because there is only one road. Just two guesthouses with an adjoining restaurant. A grocery shop and a very small clothes shop. Everything else is nature in its purest state, with a perfect sea even at the port, transparent as swimming-pool water, only the sand is missing. We toured around Sicily for a week as well, since we had never been, and I must say we have some wonderful places without taking long flights.
