Gradara by night...

We set off in the evening from Cattolica on the little red train that goes as far as Gradara…boy was it cold! Even though it was the middle of August we were freezing because it had rained all afternoon! We did the guided tour in the famous castle where the story of Paolo and Francesca told by Dante in the Inferno is set.

Gradara by day...

We liked this little village so much that we went back during the day and visited all around the walls and even on top of them! The landscapes are truly enchanting!
