Suitable for young and old alike...be careful of the ogre in the woods!;)

Day 110 Jun 2007

Well!what a surprise...

We ended up taking this outing a bit by chance, finding a link on the website. Actually we were expecting something different but it was still a pleasant and interesting outing: the fairy tale park is more for children: there are some very good actors who not only play their part while guiding adults and children through the woods but improvise throughout the whole journey and do it very well! so even though it's not really for "grown-ups" it's truly a fun and engaging walk. Plus there's the visit to the castle which is very evocative: the guide tells stories and legends of the castle which is really well kept. Too bad that inside you can't take photos and the groups are a bit large! Anyway it's worth a little visit…even without kids/nieces etc…
