A carefree afternoon in the open air...

Day 18 Apr 2007

How crazy!

Well yes! Unconcerned about the chaos of Easter Monday, we set off! Actually our intrepid heroes were also very lucky: no traffic either on the way there or on the way back! My brother had less luck: he took the same road as us to go to Desenzano, which is just before, and got stuck in 4 hours of traffic both going and coming back… He picked the wrong time (early afternoon) and got caught in 2 accidents on the highway! what can I say? In the family he's the one who brings bad luck, not me! The day was fantastic: warm but not too warm, nice sunshine and lots of people, although the park is so big that you don't even notice! It's the second time I've visited it in spring and I like it! It's well kept and you can stroll around in complete tranquility. Now you can even rent bicycles and go-karts and there's also a little train that takes you all the way around.

I've never been there in winter even though I think it would be evocative especially if it snows…it's up to you! do you prefer the spring warmth or the cold winter breeze? let me know how it is!;)
