Elba Island, September 2007

It's already the 7th year that we've been taking a little relaxing break on this island. We also found a small residence where they treat guests in a special way, so it's a real pleasure to be able to stay there. The diving centre too, not far away (every morning I took my 15-minute walk), is extremely well run and professional. For yet another year I had some truly beautiful and interesting dives. As for dinners, there really is an embarrassment of choice. Meat or fish, all prepared in a fantastic way and all accompanied, if you like, by excellent wines. You just need a little patience and to ask around for some advice: on the island you can find some real gems.
