From Berchida beach to the Castello della Fava.

The trip along the coast of Siniscola and Posada begins from the south. The first beach that welcomes us is Berchida. It's a beach that has won awards several times and is considered among the most beautiful in all of Europe, made up of a long stretch of silver-coloured sand washed by crystalline sea. Heading north up the coast, past the forest reserve of the same name, you reach the Capo Comino area near the lighthouse that marks the boundary between the rocky zone and the dune zone. Indeed, the beach of Capo Comino is particularly famous for its tall sand dunes behind it, which frame one of the most beautiful stretches of sea in this area. Continuing further north, just after the tourist village of S'Ena 'e S'Acchitta you come across the vast pine wood of Santa Lucia. Following the narrow, winding path that runs along the coastline you come across several pebbly little beaches.
We're in fact in the spot known as Spiaggia dei confetti, where the "confetti" are none other than the many little stones now smoothed by the relentless force of the sea and wind. The path also leads to the old fishing village of Santa Lucia, known for its ancient Tower built to defend the bay of la Caletta. The village of Santa Lucia also gives its name to the long stretch of beach of over 5 km.
The central part of the beach is called Sa Preta Ruia, while the far northern one is called the beach of La Caletta di Siniscola. The beaches of this municipality practically end here, since a little less than a kilometre on, the next beach you come to already falls within the territory of the municipality of Posada. The first spot you come to is San Giovanni, itself distinctive for the presence of another watchtower. Continuing north, a long stretch of sea with silver-coloured sand that, depending on the point from which you access it, takes the name, besides San Giovanni at its southern end, of Sa Tiria or Su Tiriarzu and finally Orvile. After that you enter the territory of the municipality of Budoni.
