A Sunday Outing

a slightly different Sunday afternoon a lovely walk around Lake Orta along the lakeside, with beautiful colours reflected on the lake. to get there from where I live, west of Milan, it takes about an hour and a half by car; you need to arrive fairly early in the afternoon, otherwise you won't find parking. If you go in the morning, even better. Lovely historic centre with charming little shops. You can take the ferry to the island of San Giulio, where monks live. You can walk as much as you like, stopping at the most panoramic spots. All in all, a lovely place for a Sunday outing.
