Lomellina

A nice little bicycle ride through the Lomellina area; for the details, just get the April 2007 issue of the magazine "Itinerari", very good. We start from Lomello and loop around among fields and rice paddies until we reach the Po river, then return to Lomello after about 70 km. Many dirt roads, now and then you take the main road, but usually you stay among fields and lake areas and very beautiful rice paddies; it's a ride for families and I assure you it's really worth it.... just to give a topographic reference, the route from Lomello goes towards Villa Biscossi, then from Made to Tortolo, then towards Pieve del Cairo, Cambio, Gambarana, Suardi, a little detour towards Acqualonga, back through Frascarolo, Sartirana, Breme, Valle Lomellina, Semiana, Velezzo, Pieve di Velezzo, Lomello bye Ventoenuvole
