The story

The Masseria Ruòtolo covers an area of 75 hectares, and is an oasis set in the green woods of oaks and downy oaks in the heart of the Bari Murge, 410 metres above sea level. The estate offers and organises numerous nature and farm-tourism itineraries, and in particular the Educational Farm, born as a project aimed at schools with the aim of enhancing the territory of the south-eastern Murge where it stands. It can be reached from Bari via the SS96 and then you climb up through a series of little-travelled country lanes. The route is interesting and captivates adults too, so it's highly recommended for everyone, especially in spring... besides, the food is excellent and there's room to stop even for those travelling by camper van.
