The story

To mark the 60th anniversary of the massacre of Pian d'Albero (in which the entire Cavicchi family and the partisans who were sheltered at their farmhouse were killed), we set off from Antella and arrive in the municipality of Figline, below Ponte agli Stolli. The weather promises nothing good, but we venture out all the same in memory of poor Aronne, executed at the age of 13 for no reason at all. With us are English and Russian people who were present at the battle of the same name, from which the liberation of Florence could be glimpsed. There is much emotion when we reach the Cavicchi farmhouse and someone reads the account of these terrible events. Many young people are with us with their peace flags.

Belle foto e bel ricordo. Ogni tanto le foto non servono solo a dei piacevoli ricordi ma anche alla memoria dolorosa ma importante.
