Pianosa

Island of Elba - Pianosa The trip is short because my parents live on Elba, so I took the chance to visit this beauty of the Tyrrhenian Sea. One day by mountain bike and the next by kayak, with two separate departures from Elba, since on Pianosa, being a nature park and integral reserve, you can't stay overnight. One thing deserves a mention. Lunch was eaten at the canteen of the island's only bar, which is entirely run by prisoners on semi-liberty. The dishes based on spaghetti with seafood and slices of smooth-hound shark were excellent and very cheap. They would have made any famous, expensive restaurant envious.
