The story

Margherita di Savoia is not hard to reach. From Bari it is just 69 km away and, taking the SS16 and the SS16BIS, you get there easily along a flat, fast route. It is a town known for its spa, its salt pans but also for its fine golden sandy beach, so much so that people compare it to Rimini. There are bars and little places for every taste, and the apartments (I saw on a website) go for truly rock-bottom prices! One distinguishing feature: a nice breeze, plus nearby you can reach remarkable spots to the south and north of the town....
