The story

A trip that truly loses itself in time; blurred images comforted only by photographic and cerebral memory. Monticchio and its lakes have always been an appetising destination for the people of Puglia, Lucania and Campania, since they are not difficult to reach. They are two lakes of volcanic origin, the large lake and the small lake, which lie near Mount Vulture, one of the highest in southern Italy. To reach Monticchio from Bari, a route to suggest is the SS 96, which leads from Bari to Altamura and then continues toward the Lucanian locality. A few kilometres from Monticchio rise Rapolla and Melfi, towns known for their Norman vestiges and for a thermal spa.

un bel immergersi nella propria infanzia...cissà se c'è ancora quella fontanina da cui esce l'acqua leggermente frizzante...che da bambino mi stupiva. ventoenuvole
