Sweet Lipari

Our trip to Lipari was the second one we took together, 45 days after returning from the Holland Germany tour. Lipari is one of the Aeolian Islands, we had a small apartment in the historic center. This little island is covered in prickly pear pads, pink rocks and a pumice stone quarry....white, the little pieces of pumice float on the water. Renting a scooter you can go all the way around the island, some spots can only be reached on foot or by boat. A walk that is worth taking is to Valle Muria, you leave the scooter at the start of a path among the rocks and after about 15 min. you reach a little uncrowded spot, the pristine sea makes the water rich with little fish, bring your mask!
