Day 11 Mar 2006
This is how Ugo Nespolo describes the work (over seven meters of colored steel) placed at the beginning of the wonderful seafront promenade of the city, a paraphrase of a famous poem by Dino Campana: "Work ennobles man, but when work becomes work & work & work, man is crushed. And not always by necessity, but often by greed, envy, desire, by fake needs that make us neglect the most beautiful gifts that freely surround us. The sea, thus, wants to signify all that is great and generous around us and is an invitation for everyone not to forget the gifts of God that are offered to us at every moment".
