The story
Suggesting a trip in your own city is truly unusual, considering that most diaries refer to experiences thousands of kilometres from home, but even our own city often hides unsuspected spots you've never seen. Taking our cue from an exhibition by a painter, Linos, we decide to visit the Bourbon lighthouse at the port. The lighthouse is a small structure, closed for most of the time and occasionally lent to associations to organise various exhibitions. The spot, though, is magnificent, and from here the panorama is splendid: Bari lies gracefully on the sea and certainly seems much more beautiful….
