Taormina - Villa Ducale

For our birthday, since we share the same day, I decided to treat us to a luxury weekend in a hotel in Taormina. After careful research, also dictated by the reopening of the season when many hotels have not yet joined in, I chose to stay in a charming hotel, Villa Ducale, which offered beautiful, very refined rooms with typical Sicilian decor full of vivid colours and a breathtaking view over the gulf of Giardini Naxos. Our stay was purely romantic, since the period offers no other attractions, and the weather, though clement and sunny, did not allow for days at the beach.
