The islands of the Gulf of Naples

By train to Naples and then Procida (a quick half-day visit) and Ischia. The hotel is in Ischia Porto, on the sea. Summer is about to arrive and there's a pleasant air about. The chaos of July and August isn't there and we can move freely around the island using good local transport. Between one babà and another we also savour the pleasures of the thermal baths and the enchanted gardens of this wonderful island. And the kindness of its inhabitants makes us feel right at home.
