Ornavasso: Santa's Grotto

A wonderful day... a truly magical atmosphere... At last Luca manages to deliver the letter to Santa.... In the village of Ornavasso there's a beautiful Christmas market... you buy tickets for the grotto and then take a little train that brings you close to the cave.... There's a beautiful church where one of the largest nativity scenes in Italy is set up... truly lovely... You go up on foot. You can visit Santa's reindeer and then at last there it is... the beautiful grotto.... They put helmets on your head and then you can go in.... it's a wonderful feeling... you go through a long tunnel and then in the grotto at last there he is... the famous Santa... and a huge postbox where we drop our little letters.... Then, coming out of the grotto, Luca also has a nice little ride on the ponies.... it's a wonderful event this...
