The story

Merano is a beautiful mountain resort where the climate and the air are truly special, and that is why Princess Sissi chose it as her holiday resort... and every corner of the town reminds you of her.. It really is a lovely town with little streets climbing up to the cathedral and truly striking buildings... Strolling through the streets of Merano and admiring the wonderful shops is truly pleasant... Then there is the river that crosses the town, where you admire breathtaking landscapes and from which many walks set off.... you can also admire the statue of Princess Sissi. Trauttmansdorff Castle can be reached by car and has beautiful gardens and flowers.....a spectacle that only nature can give us...inside the palace there is also the Museum of Tourism, truly curious to visit..

In the afternoon we also went to the Merano thermal baths, truly relaxing....and lying on the sun loungers and stopping to admire the view outside is really relaxing... We went during the Easter days and so we were also able to admire the most beautiful parade of Haflinger horses...
