The story

Last year, just from strolling through the Ritten valley, I had promised to come back, and so it was... Oberbozen is one of the little villages of the Ritten.... to get there by car you climb a lot and the road is one hairpin bend after another... but if you decide to leave the car in Bozen, in 15 minutes by cable car you're there... Well yes, in the Ritten valley you don't need a car... there's a lovely little train, plenty of buses and a modern cable car that takes you down to the valley.... We stayed at the hotel Post Victoria in the centre... From the terrace there was a marvellous view of beautiful mountains... We did lots of walks... the most beautiful was certainly the Freud Promenade.... very easy even with pushchairs and in the middle of a very beautiful forest.... We also visited Wolfsgruben Lake, where you can swim and sunbathe... we visited the bee museum, truly interesting..

On the third day we took the cable car and went up to the Rittner Horn.... breathtaking landscapes and a cold... brrrrrr.... For Ferragosto in Oberbozen there is then a lovely festival with horses and old games... in short, guaranteed fun.... Also for the palate, given the various stalls making sausages and polenta.... We also took the little train several times... to go to Klobenstein and to rest a little after the various walks.... and also the cable car to Bozen to go shopping.... On the last day the hotel organised a pony ride and so our little boy took part... the Assumption walk was very beautiful.... with its little church... In short, I fell in love with the Ritten valley... it's a wonderful place
