Ireland

A complete tour of Ireland, starting from Dublin, following the whole coastline and pushing inland anticlockwise, and returning to Dublin. Weather-wise we were super lucky; the weather was not only kind, it was wonderful!! We visited splendid villages, remote beaches, crossed bogs, sailed to delightful small islands, and basked in the warm September sun, watering each day our thirst for adventure with a good pint of Guinness. Ireland was the second part of our honeymoon (the first was a safari in Namibia), and we couldn't have chosen a better place. As lovers of Scotland, Ireland pleasantly surprised us… the only flaw, one we did not find with our Scottish cousins, is the food. Eating well is very expensive, and unfortunately this makes itself felt in the culinary choices!
