Zakynthos: the island of jasmine

At last the holidays have arrived: Zakynthos is waiting for us.... We set off with Roberta, Sandro, Fiorenza and Stefano on the Transavia flight... it is my first ever flight... it lasts very little but it is very exciting... I remember the tremendous heat when we got off the plane... you couldn't bear it... The Hotel Iliessa is nice; let's say it wasn't exactly the one we had chosen, only for overbooking Alpitour changed our hotel at the last minute.... Never mind, it worked out fine anyway... We rent a scooter; the island is small and you visit it very quickly.... every day we chose a new beach.... Banana beach, the Sulphur Springs, Porto Vromi... in short, each one more beautiful than the last... the water is an intense blue... We also take the boat tour of the island to go and see the shipwreck and the famous Blue Cave..... One day we dedicate to a visit to Kefalonia as well....

also very beautiful.... When we came back from our outings we always dived into the pool and made a bit of a racket. So we laughed like mad when in the hotel guestbook an Englishman had written: too many italian in the pool... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh The colours of this island are very reminiscent of our beautiful Puglia... the flavours are a little different: the Greek salads and the meat are very good... We had a really lovely holiday....
