The story

We set off from Bergamo by car towards the Brenner Pass; we did the Romantic Road the other way round, practically from the bottom, starting from Füssen and finishing in Würzburg. We set aside a two-day stop for Munich with an excursion to the Dachau concentration camp. Then back towards Italy via Innsbruck. We chose the stops "as a family", while the hotel bookings were made by our trusted travel agency. Everything beautiful, everything perfect. There were three of us; the cost stayed within 1,000 euros (petrol included). I recommend exactly the stops I've listed.
