Beyond the Pillars of Hercules 2008

Costa Mediterranean cruise; departure from Savona, then Malaga, Cadiz, Guadalest, Lisbon, Gibraltar, Barcelona. Everything was truly beautiful, no doubt; Cadiz and Malaga were a real surprise, Guadalest a village of 100 souls perched in the mountains, enchanting; Gibraltar, a crossroads of people — no bargain-priced goods as we had been told, only cigarettes; but the monkeys....and the view from the highest point...breathtaking.....Lisbon, for me a disappointment, probably because of the short time we had to visit and a poorly prepared and very rushed guide.....Barcelona, once again (it is the third time I have visited it) I discovered new things.
