New Year in Berlin 2007

I didn't know Berlin, so with my best friend Marco and a dear friend, namely my best friend's girlfriend Anna, we decide to organise a New Year abroad, destination Berlin. It was wonderful. Berlin is magical at this time of year, cold in temperature but warm with its colours, all lit up at night and with wonderful Christmas markets. The monuments are beautiful, a mix of old and new, and so much history: its wall, the Jewish museum, its squares like Alexander and Potsdamer Platz. A beautiful view of the city can be had from the television tower. Beautiful shops on Kurfürstendamm. My advice for New Year's Day is to spend it in the square at the Brandenburg Gate, the gathering point for all tourists and locals. It is organised very well, you'll have a great time. Berlin is not that well known, but it will become yours as soon as you set foot in that city. Arm yourself and set off.
