Easter in Bavarian Munich

Arriving from Tarvisio via Salzburg on the motorway is pleasant, especially if the landscape is white with snow. It's cheap to stay in the first outskirts (the trade-fair area) as the area is well connected to the centre by train and metro. It warms my heart to stroll in Marienplatz, the heart of Munich, to watch the show with the carillon and statues of the mighty tower of the Rathaus and to visit the Frauenkirche with its devil's footprint. I have fun at the Deutsches Museum where, becoming a bit of a child again, I can "play" with human discoveries and inventions. In the end, I'm forced to immerse myself in the ever-festive atmosphere of the Hofbräuhaus where music and...mas intertwine.
