XX World Youth Day

In Cologne the XX WYD (WORLD YOUTH DAY) was celebrated... it was wonderful!!! We met young people from all over the world, but the group of Italians was perhaps the one that made itself heard the most with the famous "ITALIANO BATTI LE MANI!!!!"...we visited Cologne, a city with a beautiful cathedral, where the relics of the Magi are said to be kept... The last night we slept on the Marienfeld esplanade,... "slept" is a big word... given the cold!!!! It was right here that the next day Pope Benedict XVI celebrated Holy Mass!!!!
