Berlin

Going to Berlin is worth it. A clean city, very big but orderly, punctual buses and metro and fabulous beer! There are so many things to see, the Tiergarten, the Rathaus, the zoo, the Stadium (for those who want to..), KaDeWe (a department store, not big, GIGANTIC; six immense floors, the last of which is food only..), Checkpoint Charlie, the Brandenburg Gate, Alexander Platz, etc. In 10 days we saw almost all of it, including the concentration camp an hour from Berlin. Do try their speciality, which is roast pork knuckle with pea puree, naturally accompanied by a nice weiss!! The prices are very similar to Italy, and around Christmas the city then is full of markets, a classic!
