The trip was a gift I gave to my partner. Getting to Corsica from Sicily was no easy feat. By plane we reached Rome, by train Livorno, and finally by ship Corsica. The town of Saint Florent is very pretty and quite lively, and an excellent base for visiting the splendid beaches of the desert des Agriates (Saleccia and Lodo), reachable with daily boat trips. Also worth noting is the beach of Ostrigoni. In the evening you eat very well, with tourist menus in the little harbour area. Don't miss the mussels with their various little sauces.
