The story

Night train from Florence in a sleeper compartment for two. Comfortable enough to sleep. The next morning, early (6.30 a.m.!) at Dijon station with "cafe et croissant" and then off in search of a hotel in town. This city is beautiful, it still gives you the feeling of being in a capital. Its countryside is worth a trip too, as we already did several years ago, among "vignobles" and splendid castles and commendable wines. The capital is worth a three or four-day visit. Interesting! On the way back we travelled by day, changing at Milan. A short but stress-free visit.
