Day 14 Aug 2005
The capital of Denmark must be visited. A very tidy city, the citizens are all friendly and helpful; from the outside the houses look like shacks about to collapse, but inside they are very modern. As a city, it's expensive, but the Tivoli Gardens are very unique, the pedestrian street is beautiful and in summer I recommend the boat trip. At the supermarket we bought 2 slices of fresh salmon and cooked it that same evening. I've never eaten salmon so good!!! Besides Tivoli, there's the Little Mermaid, the Carlsberg factory, and many other things to see.
