New Year's Eve in Prague

MEH.......that's the most spontaneous comment that comes to mind about the long New Year's weekend I spent in Prague....the city is beautiful...;BUT COLD AND OVERRUN BY TOURISTS.....AND IN PARTICULAR BY ITALIANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In short, I don't much enjoy taking a plane to arrive somewhere where you constantly see hordes of tourists shouting in Italian...in short, the usual Italian habit of shouting in the streets when you're abroad, to be sure of being noticed (which I really can't stand any more after 3 years living in France).

So the city is beautiful but the trip was a bit spoilt by the massive presence of our dear compatriots crowding every street and every shop or restaurant...truly incredible...like being in Milan....

So my conclusion is MEH......better to pick another time of year to go to Prague
