The story

This time my husband and I decided to avoid airport stress and try for the first time the fabled sleeper berth of the international train leaving from Udine. Let's say the berth turned out not to be very comfortable but passable, and besides we were alone in the whole carriage, in the morning near arrival they even brought us a sort of breakfast: a rubbery sandwich and coffee. What can I say about Prague? It is a fascinating, mysterious city, to be photographed at every corner. Worth seeing are Prague Castle, St Vitus Cathedral, Charles Bridge and the famous Old Town Square, and it's also lovely to stroll through the characteristic streets of Mala Strana, along the river and on Petrin Hill, fun to take the trams that run through the city centre streets and to go out in the evening since the lights and the setting create a very special atmosphere.

4 days are enough to visit Prague at leisure. At this time of year they set up the beautiful wooden houses decorated for Christmas in the centre and the Christmas concerts begin in the various churches of the city; over the Christmas holidays it must be even more evocative. I recommend you try in the square of the clock (on the right in front of the church) the mulled wine with a delicious sugar pastry whose unpronounceable name I can't remember. Bye and happy travels
