Mexico and Tequila

What a binge!!!! I'll certainly remember this holiday for an enormous tequila binge on the evening of the 31st of December, fuelled by endless "Vamos a tomar!!" with the friends from the "Bananas" club in Playa del Carmen!! The beach is lovely but the sea is rather chilly......it's certainly not like being in the southern hemisphere.....!! Chichenitza is beautiful, while the Tulum site, so praised by everyone, was a little below expectations...(maybe because the day wasn't nice)........honestly it wasn't one of my best holidays.....(the binge aside)...the fifth avenue of Playa del Carmen is nice, with lots of little shops and typical bars...for those who can afford it, I recommend the Hotel Deseo, right on the fifth avenue...(like the super ones in Miami Beach).
