The story

if you want to know more or see all the photos visit:

22 March Saint George's (GRENADA)

The southernmost of the Lesser Antilles, Grenada, is yet another natural paradise.

The port is located in the capital Saint George's and seems to have come out of an old watercolour depicting a charming seafront village, where colonial-era buildings blend with the bright Caribbean dwellings.

This is the paradise and capital of spices, nutmeg above all, so important that it is even depicted on the beautiful, colourful national flag.

You only have to lose yourself in its narrow little alleys to immediately come across the real Grenada, that of the rastas who sing Bob Marley's songs in front of their wooden stalls while selling every kind of spice, of the "mami" with gigantic breasts who gather 5-6 tomatoes into little bags for sale, of the schoolgirls in snow-white uniforms coming out of school, of the policewomen with black knee-high stockings, of those who give you change in Eastern Caribbean dollars, of those who ask you for news of Roberto Baggio or whether Cristiano Ronaldo was also Italian!

Grenada, after the old Dutch Antilles, surprises you because here you don't have the impression of being in a tropical Europe but on a real island, that of the corsairs, of the legendary pirates!
