I'm writing about it now because, since you're publishing the photos, I hope they can be useful to anyone thinking of going. It was my first time in Santo Domingo, a very positive experience both as a resort and as a place in itself. It was also the first time we flew with Blue Panorama, and it wasn't the positive part of the trip: an oldish plane with seats that, for an eleven-hour flight, were and are a bit narrow; the person in front of me had a broken recliner and I had to make the trip without being able to move, the flight was full. The Viva Dominicus Beach is very big but beautiful, with tropical parks kept in excellent condition. Spacious and clean rooms. Restaurant all buffet with a fairly decent wide choice. Perfect entertainment both by day (never intrusive) and by night, with a different show every day.
The beach is very beautiful but made ugly by a mass of sun loungers stuck one against the other. The sea, though, is worth it, with clear, warm water. The best thing of all, though, is Saona Island: it feels like being in the Maldives, very white sand and a turquoise, blue, green sea, truly fantastic. Bye everyone and BON VOYAGE to whoever is leaving.
