The story

After almost 14 hours of flying with THAI, with whom flying is divine, I arrive in Bangkok exhausted...I'll only be here 2 days so there's not much time to waste. The city is very beautiful in some parts, in others it's the classic Asian city......I'd absolutely recommend a trip to the Royal Palace and an equally lovely one to the temples grouped right in front of the Royal Palace. It takes at least half a day to visit but it's certainly worth it. Then at night it's all off to Pat Pong!!!!! A mega market of fakes, where you find everything at ridiculous prices....but you have to haggle....and then a load of dodgy little bars....in short, really fun! Bangkok certainly deserves a more thorough visit but even with three days you get more than a good idea of it. Happy Thailand to everyone! max
