We have just come back from a week by the sea in Hammamet, in a beautiful 4-star hotel full of many Russian, German, French tourists etc... and almost all ITALIANS. We did a few group excursions with a guide. Tunis, visit to the Bardo Museum, where there are many Roman mosaics — then a visit to the medina of Tunis, it looked like a labyrinth — Carthage, what remains of the Roman baths overlooking our blue sea — SIDI BOU SAID, also with the feature of all white houses with blue doors and windows — Mahdia, don't miss the catacombs. There are still some unexplored ones on the second level. One thing I found really nice: I noticed that the many street vendors along the beach couldn't come in among the sun umbrellas as they do with us. The lifeguards chased them away. Greetings Angelo
