The story
First time in Tunisia; we had never been to a country close to the desert and we liked it, not so much the sea, which is like ours, but travelling inland and seeing how people live was interesting. The desert then leaves you breathless: you look around and you are in nothingness, truly very beautiful. Tunis is a big city where I saw the most intriguing place in the souk: narrow alleyways full of shops and people, all wanting to sell something. Of Carthage, very little remains.
