The story

THE ISLANDS The Seychelles are beautiful, there is no middle ground in describing them. Our trip was organised by Catamaranocaraibi.com, the winter section of Cabincharter.it...to sail in paradise. The natural elements (wind-carved granite, very fine sand, palm trees, corals and brightly coloured fish, sea and land turtles) and the calm population blend harmoniously to form a true paradise. The sails between one island and another are very short, allowing you to dedicate the days to water and beach activities. Located near the equator, they are an archipelago not affected by the force of hurricanes, thus safeguarding the countless palm trees that can grow undisturbed. The period of the cruise is the best of the year, in the transition between the wet winter monsoon and the dry wind of the summer trade wind. This translates, statistically, into good, stable, warm weather and breezes.

The archipelago is divided into various groups extending almost to Madagascar. The cruise will take place in the group nicknamed "classic", where man has his greatest presence. The classic Seychelles are divided into two subgroups around the main islands: Mahé and Praslin. Both granitic, they are surrounded by crystal-clear waters, edged by very white beaches and spectacular corals colonised by a number of fish species that cannot be found in any other place on earth.

The Seychelles archipelago lies in the Indian Ocean, between 4° and 10° south of the Equator. We will sail among the nearby islands of the Seychelles where easy anchorages and distances will open up for you a world made of natural beauty, crystal-clear sea, breathtaking landscapes in an environment untouched by man
