The story

the first thing I did when I turned 18 was book a trip to Kenya with my mother....(obviously in my own name...) all right, enough waffling, I'll try to help as much as possible the people who want to visit this splendid country..... Jambo everyone (hello) I should say that as soon as we arrived in Kenya we were dead tired because the charter flight had been 7 hours late (unfortunately because of the tsunami tragedy); we stayed at the Aquarius Beach Resort. If I'm honest, in the minibus that took me to the hotel I was very scared.... the roads are full of potholes, they drive like madmen.... and in the darkness of the African night, at the roadside there were people walking, but what could they see?? who knows, maybe it's that we've lost our vision with all the lights.... The hotel is comfortable, it has no great environmental impact, it's in Swahili style...

We were very happy there, everyone is very friendly..... on 31 December we left for the safari to East Tsavo. We went with the beach boys, they are very nice, friendly and professional people, we always had CHARLIE with us, he's a good guide! it was the most beautiful New Year of my life, in the tent, in the middle of the savannah, with the Masai around the fire telling their customs!!!! a wonderful cultural exchange!!!! On the safari we saw many animals: buffaloes, gazelles, wildebeest, little monkeys, baboons, lions, giraffes, zebras..... the following day, to return to the hotel, we stopped to visit a Masai village.... afterwards we did the sea stay as well as the blue safari at Sardegna 2..... UNFORGETTABLE.............................................

the things that stayed with me: - the African women with their colourful fabrics, and their baskets on their heads, what a regal bearing..... similar to that of giraffes... - the sea and the beach which is so soft!!!! FANTASTIC! - the Masai and their philosophy of life, in contact with nature!! beautiful - the tranquillity and the AKUNA MATATA
