The story

Here I am again, as a special correspondent, to visit the hotels of Cairo and above all to enjoy a fine cruise on the Nile completely free of charge on a boat unlike any other… the boat on which they filmed DEATH ON THE NILE, Agatha Christie’s famous film.

So I begin the trip with 4 days in Cairo (Sofitel El Gezirah… panoramic suite… obviously all free… hee hee!!!) with visits by private driver and private French guide (Voyageurs du Monde oblige…) to the Giza plateau, Saqqara and the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities… WONDERFUL!!!!!

Then an internal flight to Luxor and the cruise aboard the legendary STEAM SHIP SUDAN begins!!… the only steamship still on the Nile… the charm of history and comfort like a five-star palace!!!

Excursions to visit magnificent archaeological sites and a unique emotion arriving at Abu Simbel.. the most beautiful temple in all of Egypt!!

Then another 2 days in Aswan at the Movenpick Elephantine 5* luxury with an infinity pool overlooking the city and, to finish, one more night in Cairo to visit (and sleep in… yesss!!!!) the Mena House Palace, the true Palace of Egypt, 50 metres from the entrance to the Great Pyramid of Khufu….. A FAIRY TALE!!!

And then an Air France flight to go home to Marseille and get back to work, eager to tell clients what a marvel it is to travel in Egypt… especially in the conditions in which I travelled!!
