The story
Cairo at last — after all the times we'd seen the temples, the pyramids, the mummies on television, here they are for real and they're quite another thing. After three thousand years they are still alive and well, magnificent. The Cairo museum would deserve a lot of time but unfortunately there's little, and we saw the essentials. The room dedicated to Tutankhamun is very beautiful. After a week of visits we rested in Hurghada. I must tell the truth, I didn't like it: too many hotels, in fact only mega-hotels, worse than Rimini. No coral reef, though, but a nice sea, even if in the period we went the water was cold.
