The story

A week of relaxation, in the warm, in a place not too far from Italy. For a while now I (Federico Chierichetti from Milan) and my girlfriend (Daniela) had wanted to take a quiet beach holiday rather than an “on the road” trip as we usually prefer. So the idea fell on the Red Sea, the Sinai Peninsula. The time had come to get to know this place so loved by Italians. We booked a week in Sharm El Sheikh at a lovely hotel (Hotel Sofitel) near Naama Bay, yet at the same time quiet and secluded on a stretch of coast all of its own. We were really happy: international guests, very little entertainment and only in the evening and only for the little ones, 3 spacious beaches right by the coral reef, excellent service.

In short, a different option (and a bit more expensive) compared with the holiday villages, which for us are a bit too “noisy”, even though they're usually much loved by Italian guests.
